The Cherubum® Personal Hygiene System
Instructions for Use
1) Remove Cherubum® Lavage Chair™ and Accessory Tote Bag from the shipper box and packaging. Remove items from Accessory Tote Bag and spread out on a clean surface. |

| 2) Grasp plastic handle on front of Lavage Chair™ and tilt forward until wheels engage. Roll Lavage Chair™ into place over toilet or Dolli-Bowl™ collection container (not included). |

3) Lift and unfold backrest. |
| |
|
 |
4) Press button on telescopic handle and
lift handle until fully extended and locked securely into place. (To close, press button to lower into locked position. Two positions ONLY: locked up or locked down.) |

5) Place Wire Hanger ends into eyelets on telescopic handle. |
| |
|
 |
6) Slide the open end of the Vinyl Extension Tubing (2 ft.) (.6 m) with Quick Connect (male) fitting on other end onto the nylon barbed fitting on the front of the Lavage Chair™. Secure firmly to prevent leakage. |

7) Before filling 9L Water Container, close Thumb Clamp on exit tubing to prevent leakage. Now fill 9L Water Container with properly tempered water for comfort (99-102 degrees F. / 37.2-38.8 degrees C.) CAUTION: NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH WATER OVER 104 DEGREES F. (39.9 C.) Secure 9L Water Container onto Wire Hanger on the telescopic handle. When full, 9L Water Container weighs approximately 16 lbs. (7.2 kg.). |

8) Double check that Thumb Clamp is closed securely. Now slide end of exit tubing from 9L Water Container onto Quick Connect Fitting (female side). Quick Connect Fitting may now be disconnected by simply pressing the grey button on the fitting housing. When disconnected, each end of Quick Connect Fitting serves as an automatic shut-off valve to prevent any leakage of water. When reconnected, water can flow from container through tubing.
NOTE: If in addition to or instead of the 9L Water Container you are using the 5 Gallon Water Container Accessory (18.9L), follow these steps:
A) Slide the open end of the Quick Connect Vinyl Extension Tubing
(6 ft.)(1.83 m) with Thumb Clamp (provided with 5 Gallon Container
accessory) onto the built-in nylon barbed fitting on the lower end of the
5 Gallon Container.
B) Fill 5 Gallon Container with properly
tempered water.
C) Secure 5 Gallon Container (18.9L) on a stable, strong shelf approximately 5 ft. (1.5 m) high and adjacent to Lavage Chair™ as positioned over toilet or Dolli-Bowl™ collection container (not included). (NOTE: The 5 Gallon Container when full weighs approximately 40 lbs. (18.1 kg.))

D) Connect to Lavage Chair™ through
Quick Connect Fitting when ready to use. |

9) Place Cherubum® Embroidered Hand Towel onto backrest surface.
10) Inflate Angel of Air™ Comfort Pillow to desired firmness and place on backrest for extra support where needed (head, neck, or lumbar area). To deflate, press red button.

11) Take Enema Tip and slide it onto Lavage Chair™ Flex Tube. Now attach other end of Flex Tube to basin nylon barbed fitting. Lubricate enema tip as needed.

12) Put Splashguard into place. |

 |
13) The Cherubum® Personal Hygiene System is now ready for use. Position your body on the Lavage Chair™ and insert enema tip into body. NOTE: Enema tip should not be inserted past 2 inches (5.08 cm) (up to flared end). Take Thumb Clamp on water container exit line into your hand and open it for flow to your body at the desired rate. (NOTE: Water and waste can be expelled from body while enema tip remains inserted or while it is removed from the body as needed.) |

14) Use Shower Spray Head (pull on/push off) connected to your 9L Water Container to rinse any waste down drain or to rinse the body as needed during or after enema session.
15) At conclusion of personal hygiene session, remove washable cover of Angel of Air™ Comfort Pillow and Cherubum® embroidered hand towel from backrest for laundering.
